For AI to produce a sustained negative demand shock, the economy must see a material acceleration in adoption, experience near-total labor substitution, no fiscal response, negligible investment absorption, and unconstrained scaling of compute. So what do you do when those pesky enterprises send a questionnaire? You just drop it into the Delve Questionnaire AI. Easy enough! For us, it ended up answering around 70% of all questions, and we filled out the remaining 30% manually. Delve wasn’t of much use for that remaining 30%, and we didn’t get the impression that they (the Delve team) really understood the domain, so we ended up working with Claude to get the remaining part done.
The trouble starts when you look at the answers Delve’s AI provided. Based on what your Delve policies claim, the questionnaire AI answers questions stating you have an MDM, had a 200 hour pen-test performed, and do regular backup restoration simulations.
